Litigation Attorney, Seattle, Washington, Deirdre Glynn Levin

Deirdre Glynn Levin is pleased to rejoin Tom's established practice on an of counsel basis. She brings a unique perspective, having worked for seven years with the federal court in two jurisdictions, and renewed energy to practicing law and advocacy.

Deirdre served as a career law clerk for more than seven years for federal bankruptcy judges in Seattle, Tacoma and San Francisco. Deirdre had the unique opportunity to serve simultaneously as an elbow law clerk and appellate law clerk for the Hon. Philip H. Brandt, appointed both to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.

Prior to her clerkship, she spent approximately six years as litigator in private practice, first in Vancouver, Canada, and then in Seattle, including working as an associate with Tom from 1994-96.

Deirdre is the author of many bankruptcy law related publications on the topic of bankruptcy law, procedure and legal writing, and has become a frequent speaker on these topics in the Northwest. When she is not busy raising her son and daughter, Deirdre enjoys teaching law basics and preparing school age students in conducting mock trials.
